The Essential Features

Please check your door type and thickness before purchasing this 2-pack. It works on most hinged doors up to 1-3/8" thick (or up to 1-13/16" thick if you remove the GlideLok's spacer bar). It is suitable for interior and exterior doors, French doors, and doors with levers, knobs, or large, unique handles. It does not work on sliding doors, such as bifold, pocket, or sliding glass doors, nor on metal door frames, patio screen doors, storm doors, or double doors that swing both ways.

Installation requires just one screw, included. For exterior doors opening inward into your home, the screw will be drilled on the exterior side of your door frame, but you can still lock and unlock from either side. You must be able to reach the top of your door to operate GlideLok.

GlideLok is made of durable metal, unlike cheap plastic models. It is the only top-of-door childproofing system of its kind and will last for years, keeping toddlers safe from accessing unsafe areas in your home. It makes your life easier and ensures your children's safety.

Unlike door knob covers or other lever locks, GlideLok sits on top of your door, out of reach, and does not interfere with decor. Adults can conveniently lock and unlock the door from both sides, avoiding being trapped inside. If you don’t need it locked temporarily, simply leave GlideLok disengaged without having to unlock every time.
